Data Integrity

Data Integrity

We've talked a lot in recent times about data breaches and data loss. But what about pure data integrity - not just whether it can be stolen, but whether it can be secretly altered?

This is a topic close to the heart of Diana Kelley, a cybersecurity field CTO for Microsoft. She has addressed the topic at recent ISMG summits and is featured in this issue of the Security Agenda.

Also in this edition: Ron Ross, a fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, discusses national critical infrastructure protection.

"This problem of vulnerability goes almost into every critical infrastructure sector," Ross says. "We're all dealing with this very complex world of software, firmware, systems and hardware. That complexity is where the adversary thrives."
